Update
Apologies that we have not been very active on this blog. First of all, we had the trip to the Isle of Man and this was swiftly followed by a successful OFSTED inspection. Next, a maelstrom of activities kicked in as the school term just raced by. Now, Christmas is approaching and it is hard to believe this first term is drawing towards a close.

September 2009
What a summer!!! Rain, rain and more rain. However, it makes it a little easier to return to school. This blog has been a bit silent of late, but hopefully it will become more active this term. If anyone has anything to write about and share with our school and wider community, please let us know at school!

Helicopter lands on school field
Pupils and staff at Nether Kellet CPS were treated to a very rare event this morning! Mrs Lamb's son, Andrew, who is a helicopter pilot, landed his helicopter on the school field. We all had the opportunity to see the aircraft approach, fly over the school and then land on the field. Children were able to meet the pilot and co-pilot and saw the helicopter close up! The excitement wasn't over yet, though! We then watched as the huge blades of the helicopter started up again and Andrew waved us goodbye as it rose off the ground! We hope that you enjoy the pictures.
